week May 28 - june 1st
This is my last week and i enjoyed it. Im kinda glas its over but it was fun! i made some firends in the office and i think that this was good experience for me to gain. I have all my hours so im happy . Im excited to be graduating this year! But yeah it was good experience. Today i did the same i do everyday. Answered the phones and took messages and booked interviews.
Friday June 1st
Today is my final day here at Direct Energy. I answered the phones booked interviews and checked messages and called them back. I also helped put the other assistant with her interviewees.

Today i took answering machine messages, emailed some people back that had left there resume in a job bank and again i assisted people with filling out forms and answering some questions they had. I called back all the messages and answered the phones and made interviews for people.

Today i helped out with tha package that new agents use to register people for price protection plans. I also took messages called back all the people that called, made interviews and helped applicants fill out forms.

Today we had interviews so i put all the applicants into one room gave them application forms to fill out and collected them and gave the hiring managers all resumes and application form. I also took messagea and answered the phones to set up nmore interviews for tommorow.

today is the first day of my last week here. I have learned a lot from working here and if i decide to pursue a career in business i have learned skills that will help make me successful. Today i just took messages from the answering service and answered phones and set people up for job interviews.

Today was better, the new head office guy is changing everything around so its more functional in the office. So I erased all the huge white boards in all the training rooms. So that we have more space to seat people. Before we were seating prople everywhere and now were seating the trainees in one room and the applicants in another room, this makes the running of the office a lot more efficient.

Today was kinda hectic. The hiring managers didnt show up until 1130, and they are supposed to be here at 1030 so we had interviewees linedup and i had problems with were to seat them. I was seating them in the training room. It got bad. After they finnally showed up they delayed my lunch until 130 because they came so late.

Week of April 23 - 27
This week was fun. My parents think that my co-op placement is a great way to find out what the job is actually like because its one thing to read about the occupation its another thing to actually work in the field. Some oppurtunities i have had here is working as an assistant to a manager and i see what the managers have to do on a daily basis. To succeed in this career i would have to become more patient, because i get all figgity during the day froms itting down for so long.

Today i helped around the office by helping maria out while she was doing interviews and getting people ready for training. I answered phones and helped people with there online training program when needed.

Today was a busy day at Direct energy. I answered the phones and booked interviews for people to come in and get hired. I also photocopied all the application forms and police criminal record checks i also highlighted all the information that needed to be filled out.

Today i answered the phones and set up interviews for next week. It has been a boring day and i cant wait to get out of this office and into the nice weather. Theres not really much to do so i am just helping with filing and organizing everything for the independant agents that work for this office.
April 23
Today there is no interviews because all this week we are doing renewals on the energy contracts and we only have til April 30th to do so, so they arent training anyone or interviewing people this week. I also had the worst trip to work because half of the subway line was shut down due to a problem at lawerence atation so it took me 2 hours to get here today.
week of April 16 - 20
this week was a good week. I did a lot and i think that i do a lot for this company just by helpiung out the head secretary because she does a lot so i kind of lessin the load on her. Its also been kind of a boring week. I could not be a secretary for the rest of my life, i would b to bored sitting around all day.

Today i photocopied and high lighted a whole bunch of application forms and sorted them out. I also put together binders with all the information about the door-to- door sales job for the agents that have their first day in the field tommorow. I spent the rest of the day catching up on my log sheets and blogs. So sorry i didnt keep up with them i forgot. But they are now up to date so i hope everything is okay.

Today i spent the majority of the dya typing out the online training program. I also handed out the application forms and collected resumes, i also did call backs to the people that had left messages on our machine inquiring about the positions available.
